Pitched & Green Roofing:
- Domestic Project
- New Build Project
- Installation of Timber Roof
- New Breather Membrane
- Eave Vents Installed
- Eternit Slate Roof
- Dry Ridge Installed
Work Summary:
The standalone building’s pitched roof was insulated between the rafters. A counter batten was then installed, followed by a new breather membrane and horizontal battens, creating a 50mm airflow. Eave vents were fitted at the eaves, and Eternit slates were used for the pitched roof covering. A dry ridge system was then installed along the ridge line.
Aluminium secret fix capping was applied to the leading edges, as well as the pitched roof gable end, and fascia was installed at the roofline of both blocks. Aluminium downpipes and hoppers were also fitted.

Flat Roof Project:
- Commercial Project
- Refurbishment Work
- Remove Existing Liquid Covering
- Install Two-layer Cold Roof System
- Felt Drips Installed
- 20 Year Warranty
- Watertight During Project
Work Summary:
Extra precautions were taken on this project due to its location on a busy high street. Scaffolding toe board catch gutters and brick guards were installed to prevent any falling materials. The existing roof was stripped down to the plywood deck, with damaged areas replaced to ensure a sturdy base for the new roof system. The building remained operational, so air conditioning units on the roof were temporarily decommissioned, relocated, and reinstalled outside of working hours. A new two-layer felt system and drips were installed, and the air conditioning units were returned to their original positions and recommissioned upon completion.

King George Hospital - London
New Flat Roof:
- Commercial NHS Project
- New Build Roof Requirement
- Installation Of TATA Steel Deck
- High Performance Felt Roof
- Improved Insulation
- Energy Efficient
- Watertight During Project
Work Summary:
The building is of steel frame construction, combined with a TATA steel structural deck and an 18mm structural plywood deck on the main roof area and adjacent walkway terrace. Upon completion of the structural deck, a high-performance felt system was installed, including a tapered insulation scheme. The leading edges of the building were fitted with aluminium capping around the perimeter of the roof parapet upstand.
Once the waterproofing was complete, lightning conductor pads were laid across the roof field area. The works were carried out while the hospital remained open to the public, with additional care taken to ensure minimal disruption to both the public and staff.
